Zoraida Soto

Zoraida Soto, 25, parted with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2022. She was the daughter of Liborio Soto and Carmen Cruz. After graduating high school Zoraida immediately dove into the workforce, last she worked at Arconic, a job that she loved for its benefits and perks. Sometimes working 2-3 jobs at a time to accomplish her goal of opening a daycare in the future, she always connected with children and was fun to be around. When you saw Zoraida, not one hair was out of place, she loved to be dolled up, eyelashes and eyebrows always done. She dreamed of having a lavish and successful life where she could shop, party, eat tacos, empanadillas, especially Cindi’s cooking. She was a risk taker. Zoraida enjoyed time at the beach, wine, and made the best out of every day. With Z you never had to wonder what was on her mind because she had no problem sharing that with you. At the same time, she did not mind putting her issues aside to help others. Z was very outgoing, many would say she was the life of the party, she sung her heart out to her favorite music, especially hip-hop. Everyone felt welcomed around her, and welcomed her advice, as her wisdom surpassed her age. Her infectious laugh, huge heart, and carefree attitude will be missed greatly. Especially missed by Carmen “Pupi” Soto whose bond grew over the years of maturing, laughing, and sharing memories together. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters Gladinet Medina, Margie Almodovar Cruz (Ramon), Angelica Santiago (Edgardo), Jessica Soto, and Carmen “Pupi” Soto, her brother Carlos Almodovar, four nieces, Araceli Alvarado, Ava Santiago, Delilah Vasquez, Elizabeth Almodovar, 6 nephews, Josiah Vasquez, Jomar Marrero, Xavier Alvarado, Ezequiel Santiago, Cameron Almodovar, Elijah Pacheco and grandmothers, Luz Martinez, Olga Valentin, and Carmen Navedo. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Roberto Cruz, Sr., cousin Liliam Fuentes, and will be reunited with her best friend Anastasia “Stasja” Graffa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Zoraida’s Funeral Service on Friday August 19, 2022, at 12 p.m. at The Groffs Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 528 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA with Pastor Dale Parmer officiating. The family will greet friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service, everyone is encouraged to wear Pink and White, please refrain from wearing black. Interment will be at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
