Park Eire McKenna

Park Eire McKenna, loved and treasured by so many, but not more so than by her mother, father, and big sister, left our company Saturday. She had a peaceful leaving, at home, in the tender embrace of love, comfort, and family. Her essence, of course, continues … giggling in the hearts of all who knew her … finally and firmly returning all the hugs she received for her twenty years … safe and snug forever. Park was born in San Diego, Ca., to Christopher and Candie (Jamerson) McKenna, the younger sister of Cole McKenna. She attended school and had countless friends at S. June Smith Center, Reidenbaugh Elementary, J. E. Fritz Elementary, Manheim Central Middle School, and Warwick High School. Over the years she also developed close bonds with all her caregivers. In addition to her parents and sister, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Richard E. and Marianne McKenna, Lancaster, Pa., maternal grandparents, Charles and Loretta Jamerson, Omaha, Ne., and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Park’s life at a Memorial service on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at 1 p.m., at The Groff’s Family Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 528 W. Orange Street (corner of West Orange and Pine streets), Lancaster, PA 17603, with the Rev. Ben Lattimer officiating. The family will receive friends at The Groff’s on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the service begins. The interment will be private. Valet parking from The Funeral Home of Fred F. Groff, Inc., 234 W.
