George E. Keller,

George E. Keller, Sr., 89, of Millersville, passed on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Lancaster General Hospital. He is the son of the late Harry Hartman Keller, Sr. and Margaret R. Stoy Keller. He was married to the late Dorothy M. Bemesderfer Keller who died in 2013. George was a longtime faithful member of Faith United Church of Christ, Lancaster, PA and was a member of the choir. During his working life he was a member of the Teamsters. He enjoyed walking at the Park City Mall six days a week. He was the life of the party and never lost his sense of humor and wit and during family gatherings he would love to dance. George will be missed by all of his family and friends. George is survived by eight children: Linda J. wife of Thomas Cunrod of Lancaster, Robert R. husband of Holly Keller of Mt. Joy, Ralph M. Keller of Lancaster, John A. husband of Jodi Keller of East Petersburg, Charles W. husband of Rebecca Keller of Lancaster, Georgia A. wife of Brad Shearer of Columbia, Beverly A. wife of Thomas Casey of Landisville, Tammy L. wife of Howard Knisely of Lititz. He is also survived by two brothers: Ernest J. husband of Pat Keller of Florida, Ronald F. Keller of Lancaster, and one sister Melva “Sis” Good of Mountville, fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He is predeceased by four children: George E. Keller, Jr., Florence, Kim and Mark Keller, four sisters: Pearl Flynn, Florence Farese, Lucille Homsher, Margaret Warfel and three brothers: Harry, Charles and John Keller. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend George’s funeral service at The Groffs Family Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 528 West Orange Street, (corner of Orange & Pine Sts.) , Lancaster, PA 17603 on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Rieker Officiating. The Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will immediately follow in Conestoga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in George’s memory to Faith United Church of Christ, 1204 Wabank Road, Lancaster, PA 17603.
