Evelyn Jean Neff

Eva Jean (Percy) Neff, 94, of Lancaster, PA, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Jean was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community. Jean was married for 45 years to Robert L. Neff who predeceased her in 2004. Jean was born in Scottdale, PA as a daughter to the late Edward and Lillian Percy. After high school, Jean went on to graduate as a registered nurse from Youngstown Hospital Association School of Nursing in Youngstown, Ohio in 1950. Further study was completed at Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, Illinois graduating in 1958. Surviving Jean are her children: Linda (Neff) Hostetter; Robert L. and Cindy (Musser) Neff; John H. Neff; William (Bill) and Luanne (Frisbie) Neff; Chris and Lori (Neff) Gilles; Tom and Debbie (Eckman) Neff. She adored her grandchildren: Jeff and Diane Hostetter, Kevin and Carol Hostetter; Anthony and Sarah (Neff) Gammage, Anna (Neff) Urquhart, Jonathon and Kate (Neff) Little; Nathan and Krystal (Neff) Eby; Emily, Elliot, Erin, Elizabeth and Ericka Neff; Sean, Joshua, Zachary Kroneberger; Joel, Jared, Justin, Tatum and Janessa (Neff) Branch, and Jordan Neff. Jean loved her great-grandchildren: Adam and Anna (Snader) Hostetter; Donovan and Kelly (Hostetter) Ranck; Cole, Kara Hostetter; Madison, Asher Gammage; Afton, Ella, Aubrie Urquhart; Adlie, Sadie and Cager Little; Julia, Natalie and Kayra Eby. Last but not least her great-great-grandchild: Asher Hostetter. She was predeceased by her siblings: Wayne Percy, Lora Rose and Betty Hull. Surviving her is a brother, Robert Percy, and his wife, Ginny from Connellsville, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jean’s service at Calvary Fellowship Homes, 502 Elizabeth Drive, Lancaster, PA in the Fellowship Hall on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kevin Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. A private family interment will be held at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
