Amber Marie Dott

Sunrise August 25, 1997 - Sunset June 2, 2023 Amber Marie Dott, 25, of Peach Bottom, PA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, June 2, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Amber was the daughter of Don R. Dott and Kristie Mitchell. Amber was a ray of sunshine mixed with a bit of hurricane. She loved deeply but had no problem giving you a piece of her mind. Amber was a fighter from day one. She battled entering and exiting this world. Amber was her dad's little angel, her mom's baby girl and her Aunt Dawn's Sunshine. Amber loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to the beach and swimming. Amber liked to work out and made sure to share that she did better than her mom. She liked music, animals (particularly cats), making TicTok videos, and playing board games with her brothers and sister. Amber loved being a big sister. She and Miranda enjoyed doing makeup and hair together. Amber's hobby was collecting receipts to earn money, and boy did her mom get it if Kristie lost/forgot a receipt. Amber loved the holidays, especially her birthday. She would be sure to remind everyone that her birthday was coming soon. Amber treasured her time with her best friend Barbara. They loved doing crafts together. Amber was looking forward to marrying her fiancé. Amber is survived by her parents, Kristie Mitchell (Anthony M. Desmarets, Jr.) and Don R. Dott (Jaime Englemann); siblings, Richard Dott, Sean Dott, Miranda Carlin, and Anthony Desmarets; paternal grandparents, Richard and Carolyn Ciarrocchi; aunts and uncles, Dawn and Doug Trantas, Dan and Melissa Ciarrocchi, Thomas and Darlene Mitchell; cousins, Anthony, Connor, Danny, Thomas, Michael, Joey, Brittany, and Matthew; fiancé Alex Turner. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Thomas and Nancy Mitchell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing for Amber on Monday, June 12, 2023 at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange Street, (corner of W. Orange & Pine Sts.), Lancaster, PA 17603 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
