Lloyd N. Hall

Lloyd Nolan Hall (71) loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Born in Havaco (McDowell County) WV on 10/12/1944. Child of C. Leland Hall and Josephine Susie (Grobosky) Hall. Survived by his wife, Joyce, daughters: Susan Joy Fenstermaker (William C. III) and Gail Marie Hall, a granddaughter, Eve Joy and grandson, Seth Charles. He is also survived by three sisters: Phyllis Compton, Terry Rauls and Marcella Cain (Gerald). Preceded in death by a brother, Thomas. Lloyd was a member of the Leola United Methodist Church (9 years) and Ross Street United Methodist Church, Lancaster, 34 years previous. He was a member of Charles M. Howell Lodge No. 496 F. & A.M. where he is also a Past Master. Lloyd was also a member of the Lancaster Lodge of Perfection, the Harrisburg consistory and appendant bodies and Royal Arch Chapter 43, Lancaster. After discharge from the Air Force, he was employed by the School District of Lancaster where he retired in 1995. Later, freezing his retirement, he went back to work in school maintenance and retired from the Penn Manor School District. Lloyd was later employed by the County of Lancaster as the office manager for the Veterans Affairs Office. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Lloyd’s Celebration of Life Funeral Service on Monday, May 9, 2016 at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 West Orange Street, (corner of W. Orange & Pine Sts.), Lancaster, PA 17603 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday at The Groffs from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when Masonic Services will be held. Military Honors will take place by the Red Rose Veteran Honor Guard following the funeral service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster.
