Gary Scott Weston

Gary Scott Weston, 75, of North Duke Street, Lancaster, PA, died on Friday, May 11, 2018, after an extended illness, with his family by his side. Born in Altoona, PA, he was the husband of Beulah P. Mall Weston and they celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary on August 16th. He was the son of the late William Franklin and Beatrice Eichelberger Weston. Scott graduated from Elizabethtown College receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. He worked as an Electrical Estimator for commercial and public works projects. After retirement, he enjoyed his time working at the Manheim Auto Auction. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching soccer games, and rooting for the Steelers. He also enjoyed audiobooks, especially authors such as Tom Clancy. He had fun working with electronic gadgets, collecting wooden carved ducks, and playing the ukulele. As a lover of pets, he was very attached to his three dogs, Josie, Jackie, and Sam. He spent time at Middle Creek enjoying nature. Scott was one of the first children to have open heart surgery in Philadelphia at the age of 11. He is survived by his wife, Beulah, a daughter, Shani C., wife of Brian Evans, Lititz, PA; two stepsons, Anthony W., husband of Lindsay Mall, Manhattan, New York, Andrew S. Mall, Lancaster, PA; two brothers, William, husband of Evelyn Weston, Elizabethtown, PA and Timothy, husband of Kerri Weston, St. Petersburg, FL; two sisters, Janet, wife of Terence Hurst, New Braunfels, TX, and Patricia, wife of Robert King, Verona, PA; three grandchildren, Noah, Jacob and Emerson Evans. He was preceded in death by a son, Sean David Weston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Scott’s Memorial Service at The Groff Family Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 528 W. Orange St. (corner of W. Orange & Pine Sts.) on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at Groffs on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. The interment will be private.
