Elsa Iris Sanchez- Rodriguez, 77, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024. She was born in Ciales, PR as the daughter of the late Ramon Sanchez and Isabel Rodriguez. She was married to her beloved late husband, Jose A. Ortiz- Noblez, for 35 years. Family meant everything to Elsa. She enjoyed spending time with them, especially with her grandchildren, and at times she would visit church with her daughter, Yaritza, and cook them nice meals. She had a positive outlook on life, always shared stories about her childhood and loved to laugh. As a pastime, she loved to watch multicultural miniseries on YouTube and enjoyed buying scratch offs. Elsa is survived by her four children; Ramon Sanchez- Rodriguez, Jose A. Ortiz Sanchez, Carlos Ortiz Sanchez, and Yaritza Ortiz Sanchez, six grandchildren: Vanessa M. Ortiz, Carlos R. Ortiz Jr., Alexis Ortiz, Shaulyn Perez, Johnniel Ortiz, and Jenniel Quiñonez, and her great-granddaughter, Alaia M. Martinez. Friends and Family are invited to attend Elsa’s Funeral Service at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA on Wednesday November 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Estuvo casada con su amado difunto esposo, José A. Ortiz-Noblez, durante 35 años. A Elsa le gustaba pasar tiempo con su familia, especialmente con sus nietos, aveces visitaba la iglesia con su hija, Yaritza, y les cocinaba comidas agradables, finalmente su familia era todo para ella. Tenía una visión positiva de la vida, siempre compartía historias sobre su infancia y le encantaba reír. Como pasatiempo, le encantaba ver miniseries multiculturales en YouTube y disfrutaba comprando raspaditos. A Elsa le sobreviven sus cuatro hijos; Ramón Sánchez-Rodríguez, José A. Ortiz Sánchez, Carlos Ortiz Sánchez y Yaritza Ortiz Sánchez, seis nietos: Vanessa M. Ortiz, Carlos R. Ortiz Jr., Alexis Ortiz, Shaulyn Pérez, Johnniel Ortiz y Jenniel Quiñonez, y su bisnieta, Alaia M. Martínez. Se invita a amigos y familiares a asistir al servicio funerario de Elsa en The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA el miércoles 6 de noviembre de 2024 a las 11:00 a.m. La familia recibirá a los amigos desde las 10:00 a.m. hasta la hora del servicio, el entierro seguirá en el Cementerio Menonita Mellinger.
