Alan Wayne Rehnberg

Alan Wayne Rehnberg, 83, of Lancaster, PA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, surrounded by his family at Hospice & Community Care. Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of the late Mansfield Gustuv Rehnberg and Hazel Lillian Blakeney. He was the loving husband of Regina A. (Knorr) for 43 years of marriage. Alan graduated from Clifton High School in New Jersey. He then attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, NJ where he received his bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing. He was the dedicated business owner of The Fireside Charcoal Broil in Clifton NJ for 25 years. During his career, he was also assistant to the district manager of Food Fair Stores, and owner of Growers Connection, LLC for 6 years. Alan was also the Director of Sales for Den Hollander Greenhouses for 25 years. After his many ventures, he worked as a driver for Vision Corps until his retirement. Alan Served in the Air Force for 6 years. Alan was a Norman Rockwell collector. He loved camping, traveling, and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Brookdale Baptist Church in Bloomfield, NJ. When he moved to Lancaster, he found a home at Calvary Church where he was a member and served on the Deacon Board and other ministries. In addition to his wife Ginny, Alan is survived by his sons: Scott A. (Trina J.) Rehnberg of Lititz, PA, and Kyle W. (Nicole L.) Rehnberg of Willow Street, PA, his daughter, Kristin J. (Natalie A.) Rehnberg of Lancaster, PA, and seven grandchildren: Isabel, Mallory, Ava, Julian, Kaylee, Bryce and Vera. Alan was preceded in death by his parents. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Alan’s Memorial Service at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastors Todd Nathan & John Frye officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Private interment will be held in Conestoga Memorial Park.
